John's Training and Credentials
I majored in psychology at the University of Minnesota. After that I went to seminary and was a pastor of several churches for 18 years. All that time I had a desire to be able to counsel people toward wholeness in a one on one setting.
That dream was fulfilled when I started counseling children and their parents. From there I began to help recovering addicts find wholeness. It was after this that I attended Argosy University to earn a Master’s degree in mental health counseling. Since 2000 I have been in full-time counseling with individuals, children, families, including those with addictions. I am a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). (I have had some Virginia residents contact me and unfortunately, according to Virginia law, North Carolina counselors cannot counsel Virginia residents.) |
I would greatly like to help you through whatever roadblocks have been standing in the way of your success and happiness in all areas of your life. Give me a call or send an Email with questions or to find out more.
